December 2019 Freebie Wallpaper Download

I've branched out a bit with my December wallpaper (pun intended lol). I've found these monthly downloads to be a fun place for experimenting. I had a vision for this holiday flurry but wasn't confident it would come together. Why? Well, the image is comprised of 5 watercolor layers hand-painted and finessed in Photoshop. It started with a watercolor wash, layered with a monotone all over pattern, two layers of ornaments and sprigs, topped with paint-splattered snow. Unlike anything I had tried before, it is full of complexity and places to go wrong. But with these results, I am happy I took the chance and look forward to more experiments.
